A legal disclaimer
The information on this website is for general guidance only and is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or emergency support. Counselling at Renew-Therapy is a professional, confidential service, but it cannot provide crisis intervention. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please contact your GP, call 999, or reach out to your local emergency or crisis service. While I do my best to respond promptly to enquiries, I cannot guarantee immediate replies, and communication through email or the website form should not be used for emergencies.
Privacy Policy
At Renew-Therapy, your privacy and wellbeing are really important to me. I only collect the information I need to support you safely, such as your name, contact details, and anything you choose to share when we begin working together. Your information is used solely to respond to your enquiries, arrange sessions, provide counselling, and keep the professional records I am required to maintain. Everything you share with me is confidential, and I will only break confidentiality if you give written permission or if I am legally required to do so, for example if there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else— and I will always try to discuss this with you first. If we work online, sessions are private, not recorded, and held on secure platforms. I keep counselling records for six years after our last session in line with professional and insurance requirements, after which they are securely destroyed. You’re always welcome to ask what information I hold, request corrections, or request deletion of your data where legally possible—just get in touch and I’ll be happy to help.
