Trauma
Trauma can come from a single event or many experiences over time. It may show up as flashbacks, feeling on high alert, shutting down, struggling to trust others, or feeling disconnected from yourself and your body. Together, we can gently make sense of what you’ve been through and find ways to feel safer, more grounded and more present in your daily life.
A gentle, trauma-informed space for healing
I understand trauma as something that has happened to you, not something that is you. We’ll start by building safety and stability in the present, paying attention to your nervous system, your boundaries and what helps you feel more in control session by session.
Our work might include grounding tools, resourcing your body, making sense of memories at your own pace, and finding language for experiences that have felt unspeakable. I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach so we can adapt the work to what feels manageable for you.
I work with individuals, relationships and families, with a focus on neurodiversity. If you are autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent, we will honour the ways your brain and body respond to trauma, and adapt sessions so they feel as accessible and supportive as possible.
